Happy New Year Or Not!
Should we be celebrating the coming of new year by going to the parties, drinking and dancing or should we keep it low keyed by remembering the men and women who gave their lives for our country and the ones who are still in the harms way and their families. Should we be thanking God for blessing us with the most beautiful country in the world. Should we be spending that time and money to help less fortunate than us. What is there to celebrate when there is not much to celebrate. Wishing all the living beings a safe, healthy, prosperous and a peaceful year full of love for all mankind. May we have peace on this earth.
The millions that are being spent (wasted) could be put to a much better use. Any comments?

We have the gift of life to cherish and celebrate. To make our time on this beautiful earth meaningful by knowing the difference between right and wrong. By loving and respecting humanity through our courage to stand up against injustice a...nd bigotry. By not doing to others what we would not like to be done to us.

"It is the eternal struggle between these two principles — right and wrong — throughout the world. They are the two principles that have stood face to face from the beginning of time; and will ever continue to struggle. The one is the common right of humanity, and the other the divine right of kings. It is the same principle in whatever shape it develops itself. It is the same spirit that says, "You toil and work and earn bread, and I'll eat it." No matter in what shape it comes, whether from the mouth of a king who seeks to bestride the people of his own nation and live by the fruit of their labor, or from one race of men as an apology for enslaving another race, it is the same tyrannical principle." -- Abraham Lincoln
